Cascade Vaulters

Our big June event was a vaulting demonstration at Bridle Trails State Park on June 24. We got help from the Mt. Rainier Vaulters, of Buckley, WA, and the Sky Mt. Vaulters, of Snohomish, WA. We performed for an audience of between 500 and 1000 spectators.

Our vaulter, Ryan, did very well at the EVA of BC Summer Celebration
held in Chilliwack, BC this weekend, June 10-11, 2006. She took first place in all three
classes she entered, Beginner Barrel II, Costume Barrel and Trot D. Her toughest competition was in the Costume Barrel class where she was up against some higher level vaulters.

She also made friends with numerous vaulters form both Canadian and US clubs.

Did FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Kudos to the Cascade Vaulters for such a fabulous horse!  Many compliments were given at how beautiful she is!  We entered 4 classes and placed in 3 of them.  We received a fourth in our first pleasure class, a 2nd in our second pleasure (woulda been a first if Cali wouldn't have stopped on the rail at Laura remembering her as the "food lady"!) and a FIRST in our equitation class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The last class was the walk race (slowest horse wins) and we just couldn't beat Aidan and Chevy's gaits.  Oh well - it was still a blast!  If you get a chance, you can check out Cali's pretty ribbons on her stall.  She did AWESOME!  More emails to come I am sure with the results of how everyone else did!
