Cascade Vaulters

Congratulations to all our Cascade Vaulters as we participated in our very first competition. Not only did we act like a top-notch vaulting club, but in our new uniforms we also looked like a top-notch vaulting club. This was Anna's 1st competition and the first time Tami competed. Our parents also did a fantastic job supporting our participation.

The competition was hosted in Wilsonville, OR by the Flying Star Vaulters (an off-shoot of the Iron Mt. Vaulters). Other participating clubs included: Devonwood Vaulters, Emerald City Vaulters, Mt.Rainier Vaulters, Iron Mt. Vaulters, Son Rise Ranch Vaulters, and the Flying Star Vaulters.

Below are the results in the order-of-go and corisponding scores. In parenthesis after the class is how many entries competed in that class.

Novice Doubles(6) Anna and Adrianna 3rd place with a score of 6.33

Open Double(7) Anna and Sandy 3rd place with a score of 6.9

Family Doubles(1) Adrianna and Tami 1st place with a score of 6.17

Open Triple(2) Anna, Adrianna, and Sandy 2nd place with a score of 5.93

Open Team(2) Sandy and 5 vaulters form other local clubs 1st place.

Adrianna 8th place with a score of 5.49

Novice Freestyle(15) Adrianna 4th place with a score of 5.83

Open Freestyle(7)
Anna 6th place with a score of 6.43.
Sandy 2nd place with a score of 7.10

All the girls will receive a copy of their scoring sheet at Wednesday's practice.

Remember that vaulters are to bring at least one move they saw that they would like to incorporate into their next freestyle routine.
