The primary purpose of these pages was to once again demonstrate my software development skills to my employer, {Employer’s Name Removed}, in the hopes that they would allow me to do this kind of work on the clock. These pages were developed on my own time, from my home computer and use my personal web hosting account.
However my employer's local legal department is scared of open source software and will not even permit it's use. Their paranoia is so ingrained that they asked that I remove the {Employer’s Name Removed} name from my web site.
Assuming that you're more clueful then my present employer please feel free to contact me at the e-mail address given below if you might be interested in having me develop cool applications like this for you. Resume available upon request.
Feel free to make reasonable use of this barcode generator, but please don’t over use it. If you find it useful and use it regularly, feel free to send me a small donation to help support my hosting and encourage me to make improvements. Or better yet get a copy of the original scripts and customize them to meet your needs.
These pages are a custom barcode generator, implemented using the Barcode Render Class for PHP written by Karim Mribti, using the GD graphics library. More information about this Barcode Render Class, including source code, can be found by visiting his web site at http://www.mribti.com/barcode/
With a little prior knowledge of PHP and HTML, I was able to adapt Karim’s PHP scripts to fit my website and preferred defaults in under three hours. It took a bit longer to write all the text that have added, including this page.
Much of these pages are derived from Karim’s work and are thus probably also covered by the GNU Lesser General Public License. If you’re interested in source code to my pages please contact me at TSayles at soot-n-smoke dot com.
